Vanderbilt is happy to welcome one of our newest Financial Professionals, Deanna O’Neal, AFC®. Deanna is joining us from Silverdale, WA.
Deanna is an Accredited Financial Counselor® and has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After graduation, she started as a commodities trader working with energy futures on the NYMEX. A few years later, she transitioned to the non-profit realm running a field office in Japan providing U.S. military members and their families with financial literacy education and financial assistance.
With all her diverse experiences and a passion for financial education, she looks for innovative ways to serve her clients with financial literacy being at the forefront. Over the years, she has worked with thousands of individuals, families, and businesses helping them achieve a better understanding of their financial picture and creating a path towards financial independence. She is the owner of the financial coaching firm, Ki Financial, LLC.
Deanna has been married to her college sweetheart for 26 years and they have 1 son. This fall, they will be moving into a new era when they send their son away to college on the East Coast. She volunteers for several organizations in her community. She speaks at events all over the country on financial literacy. She also participates in her local theater scene and is a very active dancer
