Everyone on our team displays a passionate, vibrant, and entrepreneurial vision committed to providing advisor independence with the support of a collaborative community. Founded in 1965 by two local and impassioned brothers, the modern day and rebranded Vanderbilt Financial Group* builds upon a rich legacy of serving independent advisors like you!
Women of Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt is honored to support over 220 independent registered representatives across the country and proud of the fact that over 23% are women! We are actively engaged in efforts to increase our percentage of women within the firm and strive to surpass the current industry percentage of 27.7%.
51% of the Vanderbilt office personnel are women representing all aspects of our firm from back-office operations to executive management. Vanderbilt’s executive team is comprised of eight individuals and 37% of the seats are of women.
We understand and appreciate that a woman’s perspective about their business varies from their male colleagues. An industry currently dominated by males; we are intentional in our strong support of the Women of Vanderbilt, which provides a safe forum for all women of our firm to thrive and enjoy their careers. The monthly meetings allow the opportunity for each participant to network, support each other in business, and share best practices, all of which also helps retain and advance our female talent. A coming together that nourishes our human need for a deeper connection and belonging, while forging a greater purpose from what we do and striving to make an impact.
A council of 8 – 10 members based on diversity, business practice type, longevity with the firm, and industry experience, Vanderbilt Financial Group’s Leadership Advisor Council is designed to uphold and engage our unique culture of GRITT (Gratitude, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Trustworthiness).
Vanderbilt maintains an active Impact Group focused on shining a light on critical areas of investment impact across the country and around the globe.
