Crock Pot Wars: Round 2

After tying in Round One, Chief of Staff, Heidi Distante, and Technology Specialist, Ronnie Hanif, were not about to sit Round 2 out. The Soups & Stews theme matched perfectly knowing that Snowstorm Jonas was only a day away with its expected two feet snow coming for us.

In Round Two, 5 participants some new faces, some old, shared their dishes. Along with Round 1 winners, Chief Compliance Officer, Barry Champney, rounded out the Crock Pot War vets. Barry cooked up some comfort food with a Champney staple, Cream of Chicken Soup. Heidi whipped up a hearty Chicken Pot Pie Soup complete with Red Lobster style biscuits, and Ronnie spiced things up with his mother’s recipe for Bengali Lentil Soup.

New comer Ron Distante treated us to some Lentil Stew with Sausage, and first time participant Sue Diaz shared her personal favorite Manhattan Clam Chowder. CEO Steve Distante was surprised to once again tally the votes to name Heidi and Ronnie tied for first place. With such a strong start by both participants, it will be hard for others to catch up and the competition between the two is tenser than ever.

Round Three will take place on February 26^th with a Healthy Theme. Can Ronnie and Heidi keep up their winning streak, or will an unlikely rising Crock Star emerge?
